Let’s face it: being human is tough, and so is life in the digital age. When we see others lives portrayed on Social Media, we cannot help but compare our own lives to theirs, often forgetting that we don’t always see the whole picture. In a city that already feels lonely, even the best of people can end up isolated and alone, and feeling as if no one understands them. We all have moments of desperation and fear, and can feel lost and stuck, as if all avenues have been exhausted. As humans, we often grapple with issues of self-esteem and trauma. We think thoughts such as, “I’m not good enough”, “What’s wrong with me?”, “No one cares”, and many more. These thoughts that pass through our minds at various times throughout our life contribute to feelings of depression, anxiety, and overall life dissatisfaction.

No one should have to struggle in silence. Let me be there for you to help guide you to achieving your goals towards a healthier and happier you.



Parenting

Being a parent can be the most rewarding thing there is. There can be no greater joy than watching your child grow and develop, and being there to help guide them through life. However, in that same breathe, being a parent can also be the most exhausting thing there is. What do you do when your Two and a half year old will only eat yogurt and chicken tenders? How can you possibly have a date night, let alone some alone time with your significant other, when your toddler will not leave your side and tantrums when you try to just go to the bathroom? How do you get a angsty teen to communicate with you? While you may think that the other parents around you have all the answers, these are questions and struggles that every parent deals with, and I am here to help you solve them. Together, we will work on how to set boundaries in a respectful, non-punitive, but effective way, as well as to nurture and develop a healthy and lasting relationship with your child.
